Presentable individual

  • clean shaven

  • non-smoker

  • no tattoos

  • no facial jewellery

  • dress code to suit your event, e.g. suit, business casual, smart casual, smart blacks, show blacks, dinner suit

Insurance

  • public liability (£5m; can be increased if required)

  • equipment

  • personal accident

  • business travel

  • medical insurance

Health and safety conscious

  • happy to comply with your own, clients' or venues' health & safety policies

  • compliant with your code of conduct

  • qualified first aider
    First Aid at Work Certificate (pdf)

  • careful and cautious at all times

Security-aware

  • UK press-pass holder

  • compliant with national security and disclosure checks

Confidentiality

  • compliant with privacy agreements

  • sensitive to confidential information

Associations/Unions

  • BECTU individual member

Personal Protective Equipment

  • own personal protective equipment (PPE), inc. safety boots, hardhat, high-viz jacket, gloves, glasses, full body harness (for MEWP)

  • happy to attend training courses on operational and health and safety requirements, as well as software and equipment
